Joining Wests Illawarra Aquatic Swim Club


Welcome to the WIAQ registration information page for season 2021/22. The Registrar for WIAQ Swim Club is Naomi De Lutiis. Please feel free to contact her anytime on or ph 0412861365.

If transferring IN or OUT of WIAQ, kindly contact the appropriate Coach and Registrar before doing so. All memberships are subject to committee approval as per the Terms and Conditions of membership. The swimming year extends from 1st Oct to 30th September. A reminder will be sent to current members to re register each year during September.

Please contact the Registrar if you are new to the club before joining.

You will need a ‘Swim Central‘ account to join WIAQ . Swim Central is the sport administration system used by Swimming Australia.

Active Kids Voucher rebate can be used for WIAQ membership. Have your voucher number ready when purchasing membership.

Swimming Australia policy requires a parent/guardian to also join WIAQ swim club as a ‘Dry Member' if your swimmer is under 18 yrs. This can
be done at the same time as purchasing the swimmers membership.

As part of our sponsorship requirements from Wests Illawarra Leagues Club, we ask each family to have at least one member join. You can join

Annual swimmer membership amounts for season 2021/22

8yr & under $99.48

9yr & over $143.12


Dry Member (parent/coach) membership $43.14

Associate Member (non-Mckeon squad swimmer) $107.60 - this membership is available to those swimmers who do not train in a Mckeon
Coached Squad but would like to compete at for eg Open water events. This membership DOES NOT entitle you to any club organised activities such as gym sessions, relays, representative apparel. This information is in the Ts and Cs for this membership.


All membership costs are divided between WIAQ, SESA, NSW swimming and Swimming Australia. The breakdown of this information is available to see when purchasing the membership. Insurance is included, details can be found on the NSW swimming website.

We would appreciate if you have a WWC number (working with children) to forward it to our secretary If you don’t have a WWC number, could we ask that you obtain one at your earliest convenience.

From time to time our club will take photos of swimmers and upload to our Face Book Page. We also have our own Instagram account. Both of these media platforms are used for instant transfer of messages to members. If you object to your swimmer being on these platforms, please contact the club president, James Davies and he will forward your request onto the appropriate administrators. You are also informed of this information in the Terms and Conditions upon registration.
